Stormwater Project in Mylor SA
Here’s a recent groundwater project our plumbers have been working on up in Mylor, South Australia, alongside the team from @earthscapes_excavation.
This property had no existing drainage in place, so we designed and built a full groundwater management system from scratch. Grates were installed around the perimeter of the home to collect surface water, all feeding into new underground pipework set on a continuous fall to keep everything flowing freely.
Out the front, we fitted a 5-metre x 200 mm Class B galvanised channel grate in front of the garage, concreted in for strength and a clean finish. Along the roadside, we shaped swale drains that catch and direct water into two collection pits, which discharge into the paddock — keeping the property dry and protected all year round.
A solid example of practical design and tidy workmanship coming together to solve a real drainage issue for a Hills property.
