Blocked Drain Repaired in Adelaide – No Digging Required
Blocked drains are one of the most common plumbing emergencies we attend, and they can quickly cause major disruption to a home. Recently, we were called to a property in Adelaide where the drain was completely blocked, and to make matters worse, there was no clear access point to reach the problem.
The Challenge
To gain access, our team removed the old toilet and cleared the blockage. Once the water was flowing again, we carried out a CCTV drain inspection to check for underlying issues. The camera revealed a damaged section of pipe that, if left unrepaired, would cause recurring blockages and potential structural damage.
Traditionally, the only option would have been to dig up the client’s backyard, exposing the damaged pipe and replacing it by hand. This process is messy, time-consuming, and expensive — not to mention disruptive to gardens and outdoor areas.
The Solution: Pipe Relining

Instead of excavation, we recommended a trenchless solution: pipe relining. Using advanced equipment, we inserted a 2-metre liner into the damaged section of pipe. Once cured in place, this liner sealed over the cracks and reinforced the junction, essentially creating a new pipe within the old one. The repair was completed with minimal disruption, no digging, and no need to disturb the customer’s yard.
The Result
Within 48 hours, the bathroom was back in full working order. The client saved significant time, money, and stress by avoiding excavation, and the relined pipe provided a permanent fix with long-term reliability.
